Non Ferrous & Ferrous Metals

Our main products are copper and copper alloys like Beryllium Copper, Brass, Phosphorous Bronze, etc. We also supply very competitive SUS and Aluminum to the stamping industries and other metal fabricators.

Most of our customers are from the connector industries, and we supply them with materials source from all over the world.

We are manufacturer representatives for world renowned makers. Just to name a few, they include mills like:

  • Materion of USA (formerly known as Brushwellman)
  • LFA Beryllium Copper Wire of USA
  • Sumitomo Metal Mining of Japan
  • Poongsan of Korea, and more

Our mills are accredited with ISO 9000/ 14000 certifications. We fully support your needs for material produced according to ASTM, JIS, DIN and most standards.

Materials supply can be in strips, sheets, bars, rods or wires to your required hardness, tensile strength, surface finishing, packaging, etc.

Specialty Metal

JHT Materials is well-known for rare metals supply. Some of the hard-to-find materials we can provide are:

  • Nickel Alloy, in particular Pure Nickel
  • Cobalt Alloy
  • Tellurium Copper
  • Titanium
  • Hastelloy
  • Haynes
  • Monel
  • Inconel
  • Incoloy and many more

Plating Services

We supply overall pre-plated materials for copper, copper alloys, SUS and C1010/ C1008 steel to enhance your design and process flexibility. Pre-plated materials eliminate needs for post plating, saving on downstream process cost and prevent damage to delicate stamped parts.

We can also handle your needs for selective plated materials.

Following are types of processes available:

    Reel to Reel Plating
  • Selective, zone, spot, dual, and differentially plating on same strip of material
  • Plating on flat stock, partially formed, or fully formed material.
  • Plating of shaped wires of all cross-sectional shapes.
  • Any metal or combinations of metals

    Reflowed Metallization(TM)
  • Reflowed solder electrodeposit for any base metal strip
  • Excellent solderability retention over extended shelf life
  • 100% solder density and relatively large grain size
  • Reduce detrimental intermetallic compound growth between solder layer and substrate
  • Full bright and spangle finish, equal performance throughout
  • Uniform solder thickness across strip width
  • Lead-free solder coating available with reflowed pure tin

    Wire Plating
  • Complete plating of round, square, and rectangular wire
  • Precious and non-precious finishes
  • Small quantity run possible

    Photochemical Etching
  • Etch any ferrous & non-ferrous alloy
  • Fine-line photolithography
  • Chemically etched lead frames, connectors, opto devices, and ultra precision metal components
  • Complete in-house artwork analysis, graphic design, mask generation services, and tooling production

Examples of Plating Finishes available

  • Copper
  • Brass
  • Tin (Dull, Bright & Reflowed)
  • Tin-Lead alloy (Dull, Bright & Reflowed)
  • Nickel
  • Rhodium/ Palladium/ Indium
  • Silver
  • Gold (Hard/Soft)
  • Custom alloy, and more
We work with various renowned platers from USA and Japan to bring you above-mentioned plating services. For example, Summit Corporation of America. Hence, you can count on us to fulfill your requirement.

Clad Metal

We also supply clad metal system as an alternative option to the electroplating process.

This is a combination of two or more metals metallurgically bonded under high pressure, resulting in a composite with physical and electrical properties not available in a single metal or alloy.

Clad metal systems are available as

  • inlay clad,
  • overlay clad,
  • contact tape clad, or
  • solder clad

The benefits of clad metals lies in their ability to reduce material and fabrication costs, as well as to provide properties not possible from a mono-metal or alloy.

When used in electrical/ electronics applications and compared to electroplating technologies, users can enjoy the benefits of low porosity, better formability, design flexibility, reduced cost, and superior quality.
